McCann Systems wins 'Best Casino Award' for DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Stadium

McCann Systems, the leading provider of commercial audiovisual integration, has once again been recognized for its exceptional work in the casino industry. Commercial Integrator Magazine awarded McCann Systems the Best Casino award for their work on DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field.

The sportsbook features state-of-the-art audiovisual integration in Chicago. McCann utilized 1 SOUND’s American-made loudspeakers for the audio design and for the visuals they incorporated an enormous dual-curved LED videowall- the biggest in the Midwest. With a width of 135 feet and a height of 15 feet, the signature multi-radius LED videowall captures every viewer’s attention from any spot in the sportsbook.

The space includes two floors of complete hospitality, food and beverage, betting kiosks, and VIP nooks. For audio amplification, McCann deployed Tower LCC44s mounting them with their designated Tower Wall Brackets hidden in between the TVs at the main bar. 1 SOUND SUB310s were deployed and hung in the ceiling down-firing for bass.

For coverage in the VIP booths, four Panorama MS34s were hung using their C-Clamp accessory on the overhang of the venue’s second level. The MS34s were deployed in Mono+Stereo Mode with 1 SOUND’s proprietary Mono+Stereo Controller Module in the rack.

On the second level, looking out at the video wall and over the venue, McCann installed the full-range Cannon C6s. The C6 has extended low frequency to 60 Hz and is high-fidelity quality, the qualities of the Cannon Series limit the amount of distortion and ear fatigue making it easier for the restaurant goers to have conversations with unobtrusive audio in this application.
