“1 SOUND Delivers At New Nusr-Et Steakhouse In Las Vegas”
The new Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Las Vegas recently became the international chain’s third location to incorporate 1 SOUND, with nearly 100 loudspeakers deployed to deliver coverage to the venue’s two floors in a project managed by Anthem Productions.
The 12,535-square-foot restaurant, located next to T-Mobile Stadium at The Park Vegas, an immersive outdoor dining and entertainment district, joins the chain’s Dallas and Beverly Hills establishments in implementing 1 SOUND in the past year. In addition, the fourth location in New York City will be opening soon.
Cannon C6’s were implemented on both floors of the restaurant, including the outdoor patio and balcony seating locations. They were hung using the C-Clamp accessory. For the balcony seating area, where the roof overhang was taller, Anthem Productions hung the C6’s as pendants to have more controlled sound and avoid overspill of sound off the balcony.
Distributed bass is supplied by WSUB45 subwoofers, each loaded with four 5” low-frequency drivers and one 10” passive radiator, which were flown from the ceilings using the C-Clamp accessory. FSUB45’s, which comprise the same elements but in a different form factor, were placed under banquettes throughout the restaurant.
Nusr-Et restaurants have a club-like atmosphere, with different DJs performing every night through the house system. The DJ booth that faces the circular bar in the center of the restaurant has C6’s installed for the DJ’s monitors and an FSUB45 inside.
The Cannon C6 is an 8.5” sleek box that has a high SPL output and a high fidelity sound making the house sound articulate, and non-invasive, while also being able to pump for DJs, a great fit for this application.
