1 SOUND Premiere Party Recap at The Vine Theater
Del Lago Casino & Resort, in Waterloo NY, hosted a 1 SOUND Premiere Party to promote the Vine Theater’s brand new 1 SOUND audio system! This marks the first theater to have 1 SOUND’s Level L38, deployed as an under-balcony speaker, and the new game-changer CM38 cardioid monitor on stage. After their first set of shows and announcing the new audio design at this premiere party it is clear to see that The Vine Theater and these new 1 SOUND loudspeakers are set to change the expectations in the industry.
The management of Del Lago Resort, owned by Churchill Downs, and their theater’s staff love their new audio system and are so satisfied with their experience that they wanted to celebrate and show it off to their local community and customer base. After years of producing concerts and events in their 2,000 seat theater, they decided to seek a new audio system for their theater. With help from principal consultant, Tom Knauss, at NV5 Technology and audio demonstrations they landed on a newer solution, a 1 SOUND point source design.
The management team were impressed with the quality of audio right away so much so that they kept the 1 SOUND demo system and used it as their main system until the full installation was complete. They believe and recognize that this point source design approach with 1 SOUND is the perfect solution for their theater and have already seen alcohol and ticket sales start rising since the project’s completion.
“The standard comment I get when a band comes in with a guest engineer, they walk into front of house and say is that all the PA I have?” Because all you see is two boxes mounted on the wall and I say turn it on and listen! When they leave they always ask ‘do you have any more information on this that I can get?”
“I have only impressed people with this new system. So much that I have actually downloaded all the spec sheets and laminated them so I have them at front of house to show the engineers.”

This weekend the The Vine hosted a premiere party to celebrate their theater and its new technology. The 1 SOUND team joined Tom Knauss and Anthem Production, the company in charge of the installation, to celebrate the job well done and enjoy event held by Del Lago.
