Custom-Fit Sound at LAVO Las Vegas

LAVO, the stylish Italian restaurant and lounge inside The Venetian Las Vegas, has unveiled a subtle yet significant upgrade as part of its recent renovation—a custom 1 SOUND loudspeaker system that brings premium audio performance into perfect harmony with the space’s elegant design.

With help from the Las Vegas-based integration team at National Technology Associates (NTA), the new system delivers distributed, high-energy sound without disrupting the visual flow of the venue.

Ceiling-Mounted Power, Seamless Aesthetic

In the main dining space, two Level L38 ceiling loudspeakers were installed and custom color-matched to blend directly into the ceiling. The L38 is a 3-way loudspeaker with a max SPL of 130 dB, making it powerful enough to support elevated volume for nightlife transitions while maintaining pristine audio quality throughout dinner service.

Engineered to maintain 1 SOUND’s signature clarity, the L38 offers incredibly detailed reproduction across the frequency spectrum, allowing music to feel both refined and full of depth. It’s an ideal choice for venues like LAVO that require versatility—balancing ambiance and energy throughout the night.

Cannon C8s, Customized for Impact

To complement the ceiling system, Cannon C8 loudspeakers were mounted strategically across the venue using C-Clamps for precise aiming. These coaxial loudspeakers were also custom color-matched through the 1 SOUND Custom Shop to disappear into LAVO’s interior palette—preserving the venue’s clean, luxury space while delivering excellent coverage.

Thanks to its coaxial compression driver, the C8 excels in delivering sonic intimacy at lower levels, while also packing a punch when higher SPL is needed. This flexibility is especially important for multi-use spaces like LAVO, where the mood shifts throughout the day. Whether during an elegant dinner or a late-night set, the C8 ensures clarity and presence without overwhelming the space.

Audio That Looks as Good as It Sounds

Out on the balcony, additional color-matched C8s were installed—this time in an all-weather finish rated for outdoor performance. These weather-resistant models bring the same tonal quality and directional coverage to exterior spaces, ensuring that the guest experience remains consistent both indoors and out.
