HQ2 Beachclub in Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort & Casino upgraded their outdoor sound system to a 1 SOUND distributed system and since the club & resort’s administration could not be happier about the beach club's success. What once was an annual decision for the HQ2’s director to decide what line array system would work for their summer season at the outdoor club on the beach is gone since their 1 SOUND system three years ago. Now the only decision is whether or not they’d like to have hot pink or blue colored grilles on their system for next year!

The 1 SOUND system has replaced the annual line array and truss setup that the club thought they needed. Instead, the bulk of the system now consists of 1 SOUND’s Contour point source series and Tower cardioid column series, which is half the size of the past line arrays they deployed and produces incredible clarity at the high SPL levels the global headlining DJs expect. The Director of Nightlife and Daylife at Ocean Resort Casino, Manny Ferreiros, who is a music producer himself, could not be happier with the system’s sound and the fact that they have not had to replace their loudspeakers since installing 1 SOUND.

The 1 SOUND loudspeakers are outdoor IP55 rated with salt water protection along with stainless steel 316 accessories available that can withstand the harsh ocean weather like a summer on the ocean at HQ2. Every cabinet is with Finnish birch plywood with three coats of polyurea. The final coat of polyurea has the cabinet’s black or white color mixed in so the loudspeaker finish will not scratch. These loudspeakers are standing the test and will go on for a fourth summer with the world’s best DJs performing next year.

• 2023: Ocean Casino Resort, named “Best Casino” by Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best of Philly 2023” awards

• 2024: Steve Aoki wins ‘Favorite Nightclub Residency (in U.S.) at HQ2, Atlantic City’ by EDM Awards

• 2024: They invested more into AV, installing new LED screens above the DJ booth in the nightclub and adding four luxurious new VIP cabanas for the beach club
